Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery

We make award winning wines from Tropical Fruit at our Shannonvale property just North of Port Douglas in Queensland. Our tropical fruit wines range from very dry wines to Ports and they are all of commercial standard.
The wines are single-fruit wines, not blends and are not sweet and sticky. All the fruits we use have big flavours and are grown organically in our own orchard. The flavours of the fruits are retained in the wine.
View our range of Tropical Fruit Table Wines and Tropical Fruit Ports below. All of our wines and ports can be ordered using our online order form.

Tropical Fruit Ports
Recommendation: Don't be afraid of chilling Ports. They are terrific as a summer drink when chilled.

Orange - Liqueur Port
The port equivalent (18%alc) to the Cointreau (40% alc) with the same taste. and with a touch of Grand Marnier because of the inclusion of Cumquats...

Purple Mangosteen - Soft and creamy Port
The fruit is soft, light, delicate and creamy and known as the Queen of Tropical Fruits which is the same as the Port. Those who grow the fruit, like us, consider it the most perfect fruit in the world.

Jaboticaba - Also known as the Amazon Tree Grape
We have intentionally made this Jaboticaba Port into an easy drinking not so sweet Port.

Ginger - Smooth and rich Port
We used to make this Ginger Port a couple of years ago and when it sold out we found we had lots of other wines on the Wine Tasting Table so we put it on the back-burner for a while.

Grapefruit - Rich and very complex Port
Nothing like your average Grapefruit. Complex, balanced, rich and smooth.
Made from the Marsh Grapefruit which is a sweet tropical grapefruit.

Black Sapote - Rich and highly complex. The Chocolate Pudding fruit
This Port is now a celebrity with 3 gold medal winnings. The champion wine has our same winning secret formula for the most complex Port we know!

Vanilla - A rich Port and a terrific flavouring
Made from actual Vanilla beans, the Port is not like the faint Vanilla taste in icecream but is the full flavour of the bean. The aroma of Vanilla is loved by most.

Chocolate - A rich Port and a terrific flavouring
Made from the Cocoa Bean grown locally in Mossman North Queensland. This was new to the tasting table in December 2010 and is going like a chocolate rocket so order yours today.
